Layer Drawing Bugs

select items in layer 1
switch to layer 2
press d
sometimes you get what you expect
sometimes you get what you expect until you change to layer 3, or leave drawing and come back
sometimes you get a big scrolling div in the middle of the screen with gray rectangles in it.
sometimes a few items are missing and you can replace them with copies of other items
sometimes copying in new items will not work in the upper left corner position of a specific size grid
Moving items between layers using d is not reliable.

since using a bit more I think the problem is caused by combination of the checkbox status next to layers versus selecting a single layer,
I can hide a layer and still select it and make edits to it without realizing I am not editing the layer that I think I am. Super confusing - please look at how this is done in other drawing sw to understand general user expectation.

Thank you for reporting this.
I agree that editing an invisible layer is very confusing!
This is a known issue and I'm still not sure how to best solve it. But I'll try to fix it soon!
