bug: problems with editing selected text

I want to edit selected text. It is not mentioned in the documentation, help, or FAQ, how to do this.

Problem:
If I select the text, then click on edit. I see a box to change the font etc. but no indication where to edit the text.
There is no cursor in the selected text box nor any other indication.

Workaround:
With trial and error I figured out that if click "edit" after selecting a text box, and then type something, i do not see anything on the screen. But when I click "done" in the "text font" box, then the typed letters do appear!

Requested Solution:
1. Please provide visual feedback when editing selected (=existing) text.
2. Please explain procedure in help file.

I believe you have ran into a bug that should now be fixed.
To make sure you load the most recent version of the app, please try holding down shift while refreshing the page, or use a new Incognito window.

I will also improve the relevant help pages.

Thanks, text editing works!!

But there is another glitch: The " Done" button does not seem to do anything,
The changes i did in the text box remain, even if i click escape, or click outside the text without clicking on "done"

Thanks for pointing this out. Do you mean you would like the changes not to apply when you press escape?

I do not know what the intended behaviour is, it is now confusing.

Why is there an "escape" button , and a "done" button if both do the same

Also when i click outside the text area the text is also saved (this is expected behaviour, so its good)
