More Suggestions

I suggest a layering tool. I am currently using Virtual Graph Paper to make maps for Dungeons and Dragons, both 2D using the tiled grids and recently 3D using the isometric grids.
It would be cool to have the ability for layers. Putting things on layers, labeling the layers, so you can access the background, foreground, middleground, and select things freely without moving things like the background all at once.

Maybe also a customization of the grid, like the outline of each tile's colour being changeable, or the fill of each tile being changeable.

Hi, thanks for the suggestions, and thanks for sharing an example!

I think layering would be a great addition. I'll have to think about how to approach this without over-crowding the interface.
Customization of the grid colors is coming up "soon".
