Virtual Graph Paper

Hi, I have created a couple of new diagrams for our kitchen cabinets and their dimensions. The diagram contains rectangles, lines, and text of various sizes. When I go to print to the printer or PDF, most of the time, they come up with the text all washed out. Larger text appears better, but is still washed out, and smaller text is just not viewable. I magically got it to work and print with all the text showing normally, one day for one doc, and then a few days later, after more diagram updates for both docs. I have played with the Setup, Print options, and Print preview options, and can not determine how to get this to work consistently. I know I do not need to change the size of the text or anything, as it worked one day and then the next day it does not, after making only minor updates.

Are there any settings or suggestions on how to get this to work or make it consistently show up properly? I have finished my docs, and now I just need to print and print to PDF one more time, and I should be done, but I want to have the text all showing up properly.
