Requested improvements plus a question

Hello! Huge fan of the tool as it is already, but a couple of things would make it better.
1. The first is the ability to add a point. Essentially a circle with radius zero, which only shows up due to stroke width. This would let users close off gaps within corners where two line objects meet without having to turn the two into one.
2. The second is likely more complicated, but the ability to merge two line objects which share one or both end points (or even better, a line object and a curve object) into a single object (such that the fill option would work on them) would really make this program invaluable for me, and would definitely convince me to purchase the desktop version. I'm currently on the fence regarding the ~$70 download.
3. When manipulating a set of lines or curves, you can delete a point, but as best I can tell there's no way to add a point, which would be useful. Though, this would be solved via feature #2 (as one could simply add the new points via a new line, cut the old line, then merge the new additions in).
4. This last one isn't really a suggestion so much as a question. One other thing currently giving me pause over the purchase is concern over whether buying the desktop app via one-time purchase would allow me to get future updates, so clarity on that would be appreciated!
