Hi,
I'm trying to draw some points and I'd like for them to be on the intersection points of the grid lines. What I can do at the moment is to use the "freehand" tool with the guide lines on, and very carefully place the points manually. It would be nice if the freehand tool was able to snap to the grid when the shift key is held for example, or if there was a tool specifically for drawing points on the grid in the way I described.
Thank you for working on this by the way, I'm finding it very useful, and it seems very well-designed and well-implemented.
Snapping points to the grid
Re: Snapping points to the grid
Thank you for bringing this up!
While I work on a more robust solution, I can offer you another workaround:
Use the circle tool with snapping turned on to place the center point, then hold shift while choosing the radius. This should allow you to make a more precise point than the freehand tool. You could then also use Select -> Duplicate if you want the points to be uniform.
