entering measurements
entering measurements
Is there a way to enter specific measurements? Using the line drawing option, it's virtually impossible to get the specific measurement you need (for example 10.16667). Is there any way to speficy the length of the line?
Re: entering measurements
That's unfortunately not possible at the moment, but it's coming in one of the next updates.
There are a couple of workarounds you could try:
1. Changing the grid size and/or subdivision to accommodate the required size. You could also change it just for the specific measurement and then change it back. This workaround will let you control the actual size of the line segment but it will not be reflected in the measurement label, because the grid size has changed. You could manually edit the label using the text tool.
2. Turning off "snap to grid" and turning on "snap to 15 degrees" when drawing the specific measurement, as that will allow you to stay on the grid lines but will not limit you to grid-sized steps.
