Otherwise I agree it could be useful, but it's probably going to be a while before I can add that.

I don't think it works for just a couple segments in the middle of a line without removing the entire line.(EX:I can't remove the part of the line in the middle of the smaller rectangle)

I see, yes, in that case you would have to make two new separate lines.

I do think it would be neat if you could easily slice shapes based on intersection with other shapes, and select just the segments you want. I'll think about how to implement that.

If I may make a recommendation - there is such a feature on Google Sketchup for coplanar objects - you may wish to look into how its implemented there.
